New Zealand’s Volunteer Services Abroad (VSA) sends skilled Kiwis overseas to share their experience and knowledge directly with local people and communities.
Ms Diane Thorne – George Program Manager from VSA, and Team Leader of Tonga Skills Dr Uhila – Moe – Langi Fasi signed a partnership agreement for VSA to provide 3 volunteers who will support the skills development activities of Tonga Skills.
The volunteers will be recruited in the next few months and will provide coaching and support to small businesses and teachers in TVET institutions in Tonga.
Dr Fasi said “it is wonderful to see this partnership between programs from both New Zealand and Australia that will improve the skills and economic benefits to people in the Kingdom of Tonga”.
