With Tonga Skills support, Mr. ‘Ofeina Leka, President of the Tonga National Vision Impairment Association, is undertaking the Certificate Course in Teaching at Tupou Tertiary Institute.

This will strengthen Mr Leka’s skills in training others with vision impairment in the use of screen-reading software, and will open up future training and work opportunities for many. Mr Leka and his classmates, all future teachers, are learning together from the experience of having a person with a disability in their training course.
